Tate Myre, 16-years-old, was a star athlete for the Oxford football and wrestling teams. Competitive on the field, he was an even bigger inspiration off the field, respectful to others and always giving of his time. Tate was caring, kind, and thoughtful to his teammates and those around him.

To honor Tate, the Myre Family has established the Tate Myre Memorial Scholarship Fund. This endowed scholarship will be used each year to help Oxford High School graduates offset the cost of college tuition. Tate and the Myre family will be able to continue supporting the Oxford community for years to come and create good in wake of this tragedy.
